Treaty Acknowledgememt
We acknowledge that the beauty we celebrate in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta is the traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis Nation (Districts 4, 5, and 6).
We recognise these Nations as the original caretakers of the peaks, forests, and waters that define our backyard. As we map our adventures and yours, we do so with deep respect for the Indigenous peoples who have lived in harmony with these landscapes since time immemorial.
